These images are from two of our applicators, showing some of
their work with Spray Foam and coatings over the last twenty
years.
The first set are from around 1987, of the Virgin
Atlantic Hot Air Balloon. The balloon traveled at over 130mph and
experienced temperatures 30 degrees below freezing.
The sprayfoam insulation was so effective that after the flight,
it was learned that the on board heating unit was turned on only
once or twice for a short time & not used again because
both pilots' body temperature, (trapped by the sprayfoam
insulation), was sufficient to keep the cabin warm.
There are two photo's showing a roof too fragile
to walk on. The owners wanted to get maybe another 5 years from it
before demolition so re-roofing was too expensive. Sprayfoam and
coating did the job and strengthened the roof as well.
There are also examples of a wall and ceiling
application in the Beer cellar insulation set .
