When warm moist air hits a cold surface, the
moisture condenses into water droplets. This can cause many problems
such as mold or corrosion. Applying insulation on to the surface can
prevent condensation.
Un-insulated metal roofs are notorious for
condensation problems. Polyurethane spray
foam is effective in eliminating condensation and is an excellent
thermal insulation.
