Asbestos
In the early part of this century the building industry started using Asbestos Containing Materials, such as roof sheeting, wall panels etc. After many years of exposure the surfaces of these materials become worn and weathered.

This can result in a loose and 'friable' surface that can expose the harmful Asbestos Fibers which could  become airborne. Once airborne these fiber particles can be inhaled and are extremely detrimental to you health.

Regulations
Regulations impose a duty of care, on owners of industrial and commercial premises. This means that a survey of the building must be undertaken to log the location of all Asbestos Containing Materials. The survey must be updated regularly and must be available for inspection when required by the relevant authorities. This is a legal requirement.

Removing Asbestos Containing Materials is a very costly business. Legislation requires properly managed removal & disposal according to the Environmental Agencies strict regulations. However current guidelines say that in place management, such as 'Encapsulation' is an option. Rather than disturbing the material by removal, 'In Place' Encapsulation is an alternative for building owners and much more affordable.

Encapsulation

Polyurethane Sprayfoam and coating systems are perfect for total encapsulation of Asbestos roof sheets. Sprayfoam also strengthens the more fragile roof without adding any significant weight.

A final 'Seamless Elastomeric Coating' weatherproofs the roof. Giving years of trouble free maintenance backed by our 10 Year Guarantee.
